Cub Scout Pack 889
I promise to do my best To do my duty to God and my country, To help other people, and To obey the Law of the Pack.
Welcome to the 2012-2013 Scouting year!

Pack 889 serves south Naperville. The majority of our scouts attend Fry and Peterson Elementary schools in District 204, Naperville, Illinois although the Pack is open to any boy who wishes to follow the Cub Scout trail.  Our regular Pack Meetings are held at Wheatland Salem United Methodist Church located at 95th Street and Book Road.

We combine fun and learning in many events: Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Summer Camps, Pack Overnights, Family Campfire, Memorial Day Parade, Back to Scouts Pool Party, Kane County Cougars Game and Campout and many more. Check the Calendar and Activities pages for details of our events already planned for this year.

Additionally, Pack 889 gives back to the community in various ways: Community service day, food / clothing drives, Earth Day litter cleanup are just a few. I look forward to welcoming you and your son to the pack!

Yours in Scouting,

Fred Thaete
